Hey,

This is our first time travelling and we are not to sure how the EUrail Regional Pass works and we are having a lot of difficulty trying to find which trains will get us to all of these different locations. Are the additional fees outside of the EUrail pass very costly?

Any suggestions or tips would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you so much!!

Hi.
Some trains need an extra reservation fee when travelling with an Eurail pass.
Train types: https://rail.cc/en/eurail-train-reservation
Night trains: https://rail.cc/en/eurail-night-train

There are in most cases connections available avoiding such trains with extra fees. We list them here:

Examples - use the schedules for more details: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
Paris - Venice
Venice - Florence
Italy: avoid the Eurostar trains, use free Regional trains.
