Hi there, I am currently in the Netherlands and I need to book a train ticket between Istanbul and Zagreb. I have found out that you must book the section between Istanbul and Sofia, and Sofia and Belgrade, and Belgrade and Zagreb seperately.
Under the interrail option it says I can only purchase tickets locally. This is worrying, as I would like to reserve the tickets in advance. When I click on the link under regular tickets I simply get sent to the turkish railway website. Where I can't even enter the location Sofia.
What do I do?!
Thanks in advance.

Hi!
You cannot book any of these tickets online in advance - you have to do it locally at a station. But dont worry, there is no limit of sold tickets per train.

Hi again!
What do you mean that there is no limit of sold tickets? Is there always space in these trains, are they never fully booked?

No, they wont be fully booked as tickets are not sold for a specific train. Of course it can happen that a train is quite busy at times and that some passengers even may have to stand - but since you are always travelling from the origin station you normally will always get a seat if you are at the station early enough.
