Good evening railccs
I have a question regarding this connection. Let's say I have a InterRail Global Pass (5 out of 10). Now I know that it is not possible to use the InterRail Global Pass in Russia. But is it possible to use it, as soon as I crossed the russian border to belarus, that is from Orscha Central to Paris? So is it possible to buy a usual ticket from Moscow to Orscha Central and then travel by InterRail Global Pass?

By the way, this is my planned route:

Zurich - Wien
Wien - Warsaw
Warsaw - Lublin
Lublin - Kiev
Kiev - Moscow
Moscow - Paris

Best regards and thanks for any help! :)

Hi!

No, unfortunately, the Moscow - Paris train is operated by RZD (Russian Railways) on their own without accepting regular tickets such as InterRail: Only Global Fare tickets are valid on the whole route.
The same applies also for the Moscow - Nice and Moscow - Praha/Wien trains from now on. :(

Also, IR is not valid in Belarus, thus it would be only valid from the BY <> PL border at Brest (Gr).

You will have to rearrange the route or use regular tickets if you want to use the Moscow - Paris train.
