Hello, me and a friend are planning to go round Europe this summer with a interrail ticket.
We're on a really tight budget but want to pay out to go to Morocco on a ferry. (Looks Amazing!)
Just wondering if anyone knows the cheapest crossing and any discounts we can get.
Thanks! 8)

-looking in my Lonly Planet guide-
Algeciras - Ceuta are the fastest and cheapest: € 22,-, 1,5 hours travelling (over 20 times a day). You can buy tickets at Algelciras harbour, but it's more convenient to go to one of the many agencies on the waterfront.
Have a great time there!

the newest information:
it seems that the reduction of 30% for interrailers is canceled (at least in the summer months) ...
one-way is about EUR 32,- with Transmediterranea. :(

I travelled this Summer with the Ferry from Algeciras to Tanger for 50 € (Return-Ticket) and everyone there told me that the Interrail-Discount of 30% is canceled (not only in summer months)

you wont get a discount because it is canceled, so you pay the normal rice like 50 € for a return ticket.
The most comfortable way (in my oppinion) is to take the train to Algericas and go to the harbor. The ferry-agency i took offered a bus journey (included in the price) to Tarifa from where the ferry left.

Hey!
So the best way going to Tangers is Algeciras with a 50 euro ticket both ways..Can i book this ticket let's say from a travel agency in Sevilla?
Another question:Do i have to pay a visa when entering marocco?(I am a greek citizen!)
