Hello Peter,
Thank you again for answering!
Sorry, I'll write my post in the forum .
By the way, I bought the Eurailpass in Argentina before knowing of the existance of railcc
I saw on railcc that there was a SPECIAL 35Euro fare for the Thello Night train...I tried to find the reservation, but it gets stuck and after a while it says time's up...
Is this fare available?
Thank you again anda again.
And congratulations on your work...ausgezeichnet!!

Hey Ivan. :)
Since about one year, Eurail and Interrail isn\'t valid anymore on the direct night train from Venice to Paris. :(
Therefore you have several options:
- buy a point to point ticket for the Thello. As earlier you book, as cheaper the prices are. If you can\'t find the EUR 35 special fare, then it is sold out. The e-tickets for the Thello night train are available here: [ux]https://rail.shop/omio[/ux]
- travel by day train: but there are usually several trains in these connections which require an extra reservation. So it will be expensive as well.
- do it step by step with at least one overnight stay, for example in Zurich. Then you can travel the whole route for free, including a very scenic route trough the Alps.
1 Venice - Milan: free by regional train: https://rail.cc/en/train/venice-to-milan
2 Milan - Zurich: don\'t use the direct train, travel this route trough the Alps: https://rail.cc/en/train/milan-to-zurich
Here more information and photos at the blog post of Flow: https://rail.cc/blog/zurich-milano-albula-bernina/
3 Zurich - Paris: possible by free trains: https://rail.cc/en/train/zurich-to-paris

Hi
I have been planning to go from Verona to Brig (and from there to Zermatt).
The train suggested on railcc is the one from Venice to Paris, arriving in Brig at 14.16.
I have been unable to find this particular train on any other website or official timetable.
I was just wondering whether this train is still running and does in fact stop at Brig at 14.16?
Thanks
Ben

Hi Ben!
Yeah, this train is still running. May I ask where you did look for schedules?
However the train category was wrong which I just corrected, sorry for that.

Hi Flo!
I looked on www.interrail.eu/plan-your-trip/timetables which then links you to DB Bahn (www.bahn.com/i/view/GBR/en/index.shtml)
I don't doubt that railcc is correct, I just like to check with other websites so my mind is at ease!
Thanks

Hej Ben,
no problem to ask; since we have to edit the schedules on railcc manually the risk of a mistake happening is there of course, also we cannot update all schedules immediately after the timetable change.
This connection however runs as stated, for what have you been searching?

Hi.
As Deutsche Bahn schedule planer you can also use the railcc version of it: [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] ;)

Hi Peter
Having looked on the DB Bahn website again (this time through railcc), I still can't find the train.
I searched for Verona to Brig on the 28th June and it came up with different times and different routes to the ones on railcc (ie not changing at Milan etc and not arriving at Brig at 14.16).
However I trust that you're right and will book through railcc.
Thanks very much
Ben

right now ANY trainrouter will only give approx timings-if at all, for that date, as its way too early and after a planned minor timetable change date.

It\'s like nltrainer wrote: still a long time to go - nearly half a year.
Read here: https://rail.cc/en/how-to-interrail
And Italian railways are always very very late in updating their schedules. But you can count on the connection you see here on railcc, it might change for some minutes more or less... but if you travel with Interrail, I won\'t use the given trains as both require an extra reservation:
Verona-Milan: + EUR 10
Milan-Brig: EUR 11
You can both travel for free with Interrail.
Peter :)
