Hello everyone. (:
So, I want to go to Madrid, Paris and Berlin(I want to spend the New Year's Eve there) on Christmas holidays. I'm taking a flight from Dublin to Madrid and then from Berlin to Dublin but I'm thinking about buying a 5 day global pass for the journey from Madrid-Paris-Berlin but I need exact schedules of trains (preferbly night trains so I could save time as I only have 5 days to use the interrail ticket) and I can't find any. I mean, I saw this one from P. to B. but I think that this train in December is only available on weekends, is that right ? https://rail.cc/en/paris-berlin-night-train/f3754
Also, I know there's a night train from Madrid to Paris but that one is a bit expensive, does anyone know other options?
Oh, and I'm thinking about leaving Madrid on the 26th or 27th and Paris on the 30th or 31st.
Thanks,
Sara.

full time table for next period will be available after 11th December i think so up to this time you can only suppose which train you can take.
however, the majority of high distance, night and high speed train are possible to reserve even before this that. BUT it's difficult to say about exact times of dep and arr so for that you will can not find out now the itineraries, especially for regional trains it's problematic.
so, just plan your trip basing on available data. i.e. if some train goes daily, after the change probably also will go daily etc...

Hej Sara...
as Hetman and Peter already said, in mid December there is the annual big timetable change. This will affect most countries and most connections within Europe, however, often changes are not that relevant and timings only vary some minutes.
Anyway, due to the opening of the LGV Rhin-Rhone in France many routes within and from/to France will be affected to some significant changes. The new timings will get published in bits during the next months, so in the meantime you should just plan with the current timetable and then compare if there are any changes.
We have many route suggestions especially for InterRailers in our railcc database, see here for Madrid - Paris :arr: https://rail.cc/en/train/madrid-to-paris and here for Paris - Berlin :arr: https://rail.cc/en/train/paris-to-berlin
With a 5in10 InterRail pass plus reservations, minimal costs for this route would be ~190€.
Keep in mind that the Christmas and New Year period can be very busy, especially on the main routes within Europe. Since booking will be only possible rather short in advance due to the timetable change you will have to be quick to get your reservations for your desired travel route.

Thanks a million, guys. I'll plan my trip with what I have now then, no problem. And I'll be sure to check the trains schedule updates. :)
