Gatwick > Stockholm(2 Nights), Activate Inter-rail ticket > Copenhagen (2 Nights) > Berlin (3 Nights) > Prague (3 Nights) > Krakow (3 Nights) > Vienna (3 Nights) > Budapest (3 Nights) > Zagreb (2 Nights) > Ljubljana (Day Trip) > Venice (2 Nights) > Munich ( End of Inter-rail ticket) (2 Nights) > Gatwick
Does anyone reckon this is possible for 6 people to pull off?
or by how much should it be simplified?
or should we just buy a month continuous ticket and keep the same route?
And also i really need help on cost estimating, does anyone know or has anyone been before and can roughly estimate the cost of that trip?
Thank you
Charlie :'(

will many of these train journeys be hard or difficult to organize?
and which of these places will be the most expensive?

most expinsif?
seeing you are brit: please explain: do you mean general cost of living or the cost of a bottle of beer?
If it is hard to organize: well, that depends on your experience in train travel and smartness in acquiring a sense for it. SOme-simply assume most if not all- nighttrains need to be reserved-and to the surprise of many a brit travellers this can not usually be done online-certainly not with an IR. It goes the old fashioned way: go to a window in a station and explain your wishes. Dont fret or get anxious; you are not nr 1 to do so and staff will be pretty much used to those brainless (in their view) trainusers from sofar.
general cost: divide up between east and west Eur. The more south you go in one zone, the cheaper it gets. But Italy is a lot more ikspinsif as neighbour Slovenija or Hravtska. In general the point you have to discover is get local: if you stick to british customs and food, it will be very ikspinsif,if you are able to set that step to the local stuff, you will understand why we here think of rip-off Britain due to its prices.

Stockholm - very expensive
Copenhagen - very expensive
Berlin - not too bad for Germany
Prague - quite cheap
Krakow - very cheap
Vienna - quite expensive
Budapest - more expensive than the past but not bad at all
Zagreb - as above
Ljubljana - very cheap
Venice - very expensive
Munich - ???
Yeah, as a rule, Eastern Europe (Krakow, Ljubljana, Budapest, Zagreb, Prague) is usually cheaper than Western Europe (Stockholm, Copenhagen, Venice, Vienna, Munich, Berlin)

would you advise night trains as they cut out a night of staying somewhere or would you advise just early morning trains?

Well...if you take a night train, you leave city A on the evening of day 1, arrive in city B on the morning of day 2.
If you go during the day, you leave city A on the morning of day 2, arrive in city B on the afternoon/evening of day 2.
See the difference? The money you spend for a hostel usually equals a berth in a couchette, in eastern Europe even sleepers are affordable. If you travel in regular seats you even save some money, although I would not recommend to travel in seats overnight all the time.
