How do I get more information on these night trains?
I would like to travel from Split to Budapest on the 14th/15th of July - this night train could be perfect... but I can't find information about it anywhere other than this website!
Hope you can help, thanks.

Are the only trains from Split to Budapest?
Also, if you take an overnight train, does that count as using two travel days as you go over midnight?
Thanks

Hi!
https://rail.cc/en/interrail/split-to-budapest
One direct train during summer twice weekly plus a connecting service every day of the year.
Depending on which connection you take you have to use two or one travel day (making use of the 1900-rule: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train )

Hi,
DB lists two direct night trains, the 17:40 arriving at 09:54 (D 1205) and the 18:44 arriving at 10:54 (D 16EI). Is this second train incorrect then?
Also, is there any way to make a reservation on this train before arriving? The train is two days after I arrive in Croatia so I am a little worried about booking so close.
Thanks

hi,
I think both train will operate :)
I've checked mav.hu but I didn't manage to get a reservation. But on mav.hu only the first train was mentioned, but I know they do not always show all connections that exist :) . Maybe it's possible that there are only seats in the second train. DB doesn't show any sleepers. Just go to a (local) train station and make the reservation there.
