Hey,
I want to travel from Italy to Barcelona by ferry, and found out that there is one
from Livorno to Barcelona. But I cannot find how much it will cost.
I only found that there are 20% discount on the normal price with the interrail ticket.
But does anybody know how expensive such a ferry would cost, or where we can get the
cheapest price?

Thanks a lot for your help!
Tina Helen :)

Hi.

I just added a topic about this ferry connection: https://rail.cc/en/florence-barcelona-ferry/f7126
The cheaper solution is the ferry from close to Rome to Barcelona, as you can book seats. The one from Livorno only has as cheapest options shared cabins: https://rail.cc/en/rome-barcelona-ferry/f7028

It sees that the Interrail discount is only available at their office at the harbour.

Hi

This a copy of another post that I have just made to in reply to Peter:

There is a Night Train Running from Vienna to Livorno (Ferry connection) and v.v. There are only a few journeys over the summer period.

The details are:
Wien Meidling dep 20:29 EN 1137 Toscana Mare (train name)
Livorno Centrale arr 08:56
Duration: 12:27

Livorno Centrale dep 19:25 EN 1144
Wien Meidling arr 08:55

It does not run every day, but includes feasible early morning Italy set-downs in Bologna, Florence and Pisa, and evening Italy pick-ups in Pisa, Florence, Bologna, Ferrara, Rovigo, Padua and Udine.

I don't know what the fees and supplements are but would think that they would be similar to other night trains.
Hope this is helpful to you.

Cheers
