Hi!
I'm planning my first interrail trip for September 2007 and i was thinking about going to Sweden and Norway.
My question is:
Is it already very cold or raining all the time in Sweden and Norway in September?
Should I go somewhere south instead and travel Sweden and Norway next year in summer?
regards, chris

That's a tough question. Some years in September it's still warm and not rainy at all. Other years the weather can be terrible and you really feel that the summer is over. It's more likely to be good weather if you go to Sweden earlier in the summer, but you never know.
One thing you should consider is that in September the tourist season is closing. So there are less things to do. And most Swedes are back at work or in school.

I agree with Jimmy ...! :)
sometimes you still have sun (indian summer) and sometimes already a lot of rain and it is cold ...
And when traveling in autumn, a lot of hostels are already closed ... especially the ones situated in tourist regions for hiking.
But the trains are free ... not to much people ... so it is nice !! :)
