Hello dudes of rails!

We are from Portugal, and we are going to make our first interrail with flexi-pass (5 in 10 days), which will start in Denmark..

I have some doubts about some procedures in the different countries, even after i read already a lot about tips and tricks in an Interrail.

1- From Esbjerg to Hamburg (first trip), I guess there will be no problem with reservations and so in these countries.. We just go inside the train and show our interrail pass when asked isn't it?

2- Hamburg-Bremen-Osnabruck-Hilversum-Amsterdam . We have to take 4 different trains in one day. But i'm a little confused about the 19h rule. We depart early from Hamburg (06h40) and we are visiting Bremen, and then changing train in Osnabruck at 17h55, and another time in Hilversum at 20h50.. We will be arriving in Amsterdam at 21h30.
Does that 19'00h rule apply in this case? We are only using one day of travelling right?

3- Amsterdam-Antwerp-Lille-Paris
In this route we have the same problem.. Thalys is a more direct option, but its a very expensive fee... So we have to make reservation of the TGV Lille-Paris, how can we do it? Also need reservation Antwerp-Lille via IC?

The rest of the trip i guess we are ready for it...

Thanks in advance for who can answer us..

Ad.2.
the 19:00 rule works generally only with night trains and is for save one day from 2 but in this case you travel during only one day

Ad.3.

Hi.
You are always welcome to ask if you have some doubts... :)

1) YES - just go in and sit down. A reservation is possible but not required. If you don't travel on Friday or Sunday afternoon/evening (peak travel times), you will get a seat without problems.

2) It is ONE travel day. As this is a day trip, you do not need the 19h-rule: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train
This rule will ONLY be needed when using overnight-trains.
For example (it is only an example, the timings are not correct):
You leave Hamburg by night train at 19:30h and arrive in Amsterdam at 10:00h in the next morning. Then you use the 19h-rule and your trip is counted as only one travel day.

3) Here some information for Amsterdam - Paris ... I always recommend to use the free trains. Buy some beer, use the free days and relax. :)
https://rail.cc/en/interrail/amsterdam-to-paris

Official reservations for Lille to Paris are available at the railcc shop: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation
Fill in as departure station Lille Europe or Lille Flandres (this should be the station where you will arrive by IC) - and as destination Paris Nord.
The IC train Antwerp to Lille is free.

And if you want to support our railcc project, buy your Interrail pass in the Raildue shop - free delivery in standard service: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]

Peter :)

P.S.: Hetman was faster ;)

Thank you very much, you guys are just great!!
All the doubts are already answered, but there is only this way of reservation, by sending the tickets to my address? I don't know if there is time left for that.. If not, how can i do to make a reservation in other way?

Peter, that would have been great to buy here my interrail ticket, but i have already bought it last Saturday.
Thank you

You can buy the reservation as well during your trip at a railway station.
Sad that you didn't bought them here... next time... ;)
