Sofia-Skopje-Tirana-Pristina-Podgorica-Belgrade-Sarajevo

All I require about the above is the list of possible connections, direct or not, in said order, or a similar order. Prices are cool, but not necessary.

That's it, thank you!

impossible, as most of it does not have trains. Anyway: in these parts of the world it is often sooooooo old-fashioned, like we were very much used to a few years ago: simply come, see/ask what is there and use that for next trip. This also leads to the inevitable conclusion, that any pas, IR or whatever, is a waste of money.
Sk_Sk-OHRID: all bus, on to and on from Tir/Alb;same.
For just Podg (in fact BAR would be the most likely choice-unless you want to cough up for a taxi)-BG just buy when there. BG-SJ: train is possible for the die-hard railfreaks, but buses are faster, MUCH more frequent, and cost just a few dinaren more.
I have written about routes into+out of Albania in another posting.
In fact: any fairly recent and practic guidebook-yes also quite old-fashioned, would have given this info too.

Hey, I'm ok with buses, I'm just more bothered about direct connections et al!
