Hello Interrail!
I would like to do next year in the summer months, an Inter-Rail trip! Actually I am interested to Scandinavia and Ireland!
Now I have following questions:
How do I control this in advance with train reservations, etc.? If for example I run all the places in the trains I want to use the reserve and miss a connecting train, so I miss my booking?
The next problem I have is that I do not know how long I should take into account each city?
I plan to stay in youth hostels, how to book these at best and where?
I probably buy me the 1-month inter-rail pass!
Another question: how much money should I take abroad and how (cash, ATM card,...)?
Currently, I only planned to travel to Scandinavia (actually, only the order of cities):
Graz - Vienna
Vienna - Munich
Munich - Berlin
[No idea how I get from Berlin to Kobenhavn]
Kobenhavn - Stockholm
Stockholm - Uppsala
Uppsala - Trondheim
Trondheim - Oslo
Oslo - Bergen
Bergen - Oslo
Oslo - Kobenhavn
From then on, unfortunately I have no idea how to get to Ireland on the best way?
Can someone help me please?
PS: Sorry for my bad English!

Hi.
There is as well a German section of the forum which you can use, if you prefer German language:
https://rail.cc/de/forum-interrail
A lot of questions and still one year to go. The best is to read the forum as all questions are already answered there. :)
Also on the website you will find information...
Reservations: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation
If you miss a train, bad luck. Then you lost your reservation. In most cases there are connections available without extra reservation fees: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
How long in each city: depends on your character. Some like rushing trough and make kilometres, others prefer to stay 2-3 days in one city. :)
Hostels: [ux]https://rail.shop/hostelworld[/ux]
Money: ATMs available all over Europe. Read here: https://rail.cc/en/money
Calculate your trip: https://rail.cc/en/overall-costs
Concerning connections use the link I gave you above. There you will find as well for example BERLIN - COPENHAGEN: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/berlin-to-copenhagen
Train schedules, reservation and supplements - all here on this site: https://rail.cc/en/interrail
Your planed tour: you only want to see Sweden and Norway. Think about as well using a ferry to Finland... and the Inlandsbanan in Sweden. In Northern-Norway you have the Lofoten. So a lot to see and to do there.
Peter :)
