Use www.bahn.com. Divide your trip in Castelford-Paris and Paris-Budapest. There you will find answers.

Castleford doesn't speak real english......
This will cost much more than flying and will take 26-30 hours. There is an efficient connection where overnight travel is in a germna iCE train so there are no bed costs, depart London St. Pancras at 17:04 (allow 90 minutes for checkin) change Brussel, Köln, München arrive Budapest Keleti 14:19 (Kelenföld slightly earlier). The price from Brussel will be €75 - €150 depending on when you book and when you trael, there will still be the Eurostar fare and the British fare which will be £30-40 again depending on when you book.
