Hi
I would appreciate your ideas on alternative train routes from Malmö, Sweden to Barcelona. Fastest? Most comfortabel? Most eventful? Recommended stops
Best regards

Hej pa daj. Will not map out-I trust some of the other few faithful answer-givers on this forum may appear later, take a look at seat61.com- best site for planning rail/overland trips from UK=GB to all other continental countries. Just use its back way fra Sverige to BRUssel or so- then onward to Espana.
Use bahn.de (yes, the german railways) as a railplanner-it will work for about all of EURope- but NOT for too long before-take next week/same day for a rough idea-times MAy change a little, but you get the rough idea of how long/change where etc.
It will also very much depend a lot as to WHere in ES, as in fact the trenes there can also be quite a challenge for Svenskarna who know not much else as service-oriented SJ or perhaps even SkaneTrafiken.

When using www.bahn.com (indeed recommended) you should also consider to start with a ferry to Lübeck/Travemünde (Finnlines) and look from there.

Uuhmmm.... This sounds like one of those questions from someone who doesn't have a real intention to travel and who will have forgotten asking it by the end of the week. It's far too wide to give a meaningful answer to and on Tripadvisor would have invloved doezens of people and three pages of the thread before it dried up.
If you are serious, and not already copying him, try searching for DownieLive in Youtube and catch up on his latest weekly series, episodes 2 and 3 basically cover this general route. But don't copy how he leaves ticket booking to the last minute and fails to use the train company websites even though everything else is phone based.
Bear in mind that the Swedish ticketing system is basically designed to make international bookings difficult, and the DSB (Danish) website tries to hide the international part! If you do come up with a plan which is bookable in advance go along a plan of using bahn.de for booking København-a stopover in Germany with at least one hour of DB long distance trains, then that place to Amsterdam or Brussels or Paris or Lyons. Followed by SNCF to Barcelona (or possibly RENFE if from Paris or Lyons). And before buying, add up the prices ands see if an Interrail Flexi pass would be cheaper - but don't forget that with pass you will need to add surcharges from Eurostar, SNCF TGV (and you can't use a pass on Ouigo trains with OGV codes...) and RENFE.
