Train from Rennes to Nancy

Best is subjective, but for this case there is one major and not that comfy way: via Paris, 2 different stations, metro=pay apart in between. TGV trains: REServation, book ahead for best price, both sides. From Rn ev hour to Montparnasse in Paris, metro 4, then another TGV=book separate and allow plenty of time in between if youre not familiair with all that. Nancy-city has fewer trains, there is also a stop in country side named Lorraine TGV-has direct connecting bus into town.
