Where can we buy Traintickets from Istanbul via Anjara to Kars with the non-touristic Dogu-Express?

No more train all the way-use HiSpeed to Ankara, from there daily overnite, dep. Ank 18.00-expect (heavy) delays on arrival. Likely a mr google sent you to this slowly dying site: a far better and uptodate and well-known with all the info+even pix on it is seat61.com. It gives timings+prices and info on how to book-even possible tiny discounts. Bookings should open 60 days before (most people worrying about ´full'trains tend to be waaaaaaaaay too early) but also states it often gets blocked soon after-my guess is from scalpers who sell to others with high upmarket.
You probably will not want to stay over there for ever-so also take in account other ways to get out/onward and do know TK has a far better, much more frequent and way easier to book long-dist BUS (coach for GB) system. Goes anywhere

If this website is all but dead why does nltrainer keep coming back to check it and post basically the same thing to every question?

Thank you for your answer, we found out and arrived in Kars yesterday evening (22.00), so it was 2h delay. We took a bus from Istanbul to Ankara (trains were all booked because of turkish holiday) and bought our ticket for Doğu-Express directly at the trainstation in Istanbul.
We will check out 61.com next time, thanks for the tip!
