Hi,
I'm trying to book a ticket for a Paris-Berlin night train. Looks like it's impossible more than 1.5 month in advance.
Several websites indicate that it should be possible 180 days in advance!
Has anybody tried already?
Thanks a lot,
Emmanuel

You probably want a specific date and have fears it cannot be done: Then realise-use brains, that trains fairly often suffer for having to ride on those iron rails-if there are works/diversions/whatever (and these are more often nighttime as daytime) then the planned normal route cannot be done-sometimes they plan around that, sometimes they just wait till more details of what can become available. And realise2: if YOU cannot book, others also cannot, so no fears for those full trains. That are just some of the finer things that trains suffer from compared with flying-or even busing. Factor 3 are the eternal strikes- by the unions always on their feet to protect the rights of the workers- only announced a few days before.
