Je souhaite me rendre à Istanbul début mai 2025.
Trajet prévu Valence 26 Zurich Budapest Bucarest Sofia Istanbul
A priori pas de train direct entre Bucarest et Sofia. Changement à Ruse
Où et Quand puis-je acheter mes billets ?
Train de nuit entre Sofia et Istanbul est-il fiable ?

Bonjour. Sorry, note above this site was from long ago-and this site in fact also. Many others are more uptodate.
In summer there are some direect couchette cars from BuCu to IST-these joins the main 1/night train Sof-Ist. As such this later train is reliable (fiable) in that it will run, but arrival time in ISt is NOT-delays are common-mostly due to the extended and slow border checks-leave Schengen area and enter Turkey.
You can/should be able to book that train online via BDZ (=the SNCB of Bulgaria), the other tickets just at the gare before you use train. AND going via Sofia is a big detour=much longer time, can shorten that route to board IST train further in Bulgaria.

You may also consider a direct overnite BUS from Bucu to Ist-much cheaper and shorter trip time.
