Hi guys, I'm currently planning my 1st Interail journey and I'm gonna be doing it by myself so I'm stressing out!
I have a 5 in 10 day pass and want to visit all of the above. What I'm slightly concerned about is what services I can actually use my Interail pass on... For example, I'd like to visit Halsttatt on the way to Vienna, but it requires a minimum of 3 changes. When I go on the route planner through the interail website (SCOTTY) I'm assuming the products (IC, OBB, S2, REX, D etc) are the type of services but I'm unsure as to whether the interail pass is valid on some of them. Any ideas as to where I can check?

There are no special schedule planers for Interrailers!
I recommend first to check our handmade schedules - always up to date and offering connections free (!) of extra fees. Connections which you won't find if you use these official schedule planer and which won't be told at stations.

If you use one of these schedule planers, compare it to the train types if you have to pay extra or not. Sometimes trains are marked in these schedule planers as requires extra reservation (or something like that), but they might be free with Interrail - or the reverse case.
