On the 17th of Sep 2014 people working for PKP especially for Przewozy Regionalne ( regio and interregio trains ) are going to go on strike. They plan to start just 1 minute after midnight and the strike is going to last 24 hours. It's said that no one of about 2700 regio and interregio trains will go that day!
If it all happens my advice is to use TLK, IC or EC trains ( which belong to another rail company ) or travel another day.
