Getting out of Sofia

Basically, I don't know how to get out of Sofia without travelling to the east. I was trying to find connections to Thessaloniki, Belgrad and Skopje. I don't even mind where I get next. I would also get there by bus if necessary...

Thank you! But I'd have the same problem of getting away when I get there. I want to get to Croatia eventually.

There are no train to Greece from any other country and trains in Serbia are very limited - which messes up travel to other countries. This will probably need buses...

Croatia also has problems, especiailly connections to Slovenia.
