Oops, there is no trainstation in Terneuzen. Best way is train from Brussels-Midi to Gent Saint Pierre (Gand in French). Taxi or hike (3 km) to Gent Zuid. Bus 55 from busstation Gent Zuid to Zelzate and from there bus 6 to Terneuzen. (Source: Google maps)

No need at all for walk or taxi.
1.there is the few times/day Direct bus Breda-stops in Antwerpen (WEST!_Not station!)-HUlst, with most of these buses going on to Tnz
2.deLIJN van St. Niklaas to HUlst (ev hour weekdays, 2-hrs weekends), connects fairly well wit Connexxion onward to Tnz. In both buses you can easily pay with your bankcd (Lijn=2,50, Cnx by distance, so also checkOUT). delijn.be for BE and 9292.nl for all of NL
St Nk is in between Gent and Antwerpen-all domestic IC trains stop. there. In fact myself did also last sunday coming of LIlle going to NL, but not Tnz.
