Thanks for the article on this route. I tried the links but needed to clarify a few things please:
1. We need the Touristic Eastern express. Is there a different link for this one?
2. Is there a compartment that caters for more than 2 people?
3. I'd like to book for December 2024. When can I do this?

You read the blog on rail.cc and have been transferred to a forum at raildude.com.
The blog dates back to pre-covid, and just as importantly, pre the 2023 earthquake. Current information from Turkey is difficult, even more so since Turkish Railways TCDD blocked their websites to users with non Turkish IP addresses. I'm told that you can still get through if you use a VPN service with a fake Turkish address.

1.most often more uptodate info can be found on seat61.com or perhaps the touristy forums on tripadvisor. com
2.as steve explains, this forum is reallyout of date. I read that this express has become a kind of so much sought out fad in Türkiye that agencies buy all seats/space and resell it at a premium. There should however also still be the normal non-touristy train.
