How is it best to get from Budapest to lake balaton on saturday? And were do you recommend to stay there and do?

Hi.
You have direct trains from Budapest to Siofok.
From there you can use local trains making the whole trip around the lake. You will find camp sites everywhere.

Do you know how we can get to Héviz? is there some train (included in the interrail pass) that we can take?

Hi.
There is no station in this village. Closest one is about 5-6km away and called: [b]Keszthely[/b]

Direct trains available. Example:
[b]Budapest-Kelenföld[/b] dep: 0932 | E train - free of reservation fees
[b]Keszthely[/b] arr: 1256

Reservations are very cheap in Hungary if needed.
