vår familj planerar att åka tåg till albanien från stockholm i juli. Vi har aldrig åkt tåg i europa och tar gärna emot tips om hur vi tar oss dit på bästa sätt!

there has never been an international passnger rail connection to Albania, and now the only cross border line is so bad even the freight service has stopped. Within Albania the only passenger service reported to be running is between Durres and Elbasan - but current info is unavailable. Even getting close to Albania is difficult with Serbia and countires in between having a poor service.
The other option would be a ferry from Italy

Indeed choice of 2 main routings: by toget via Italien-then faerje, or toget till as far as can do=Croatia, or even Beograd via long detour HUNgary-then BUS.
