--sick clubbing, holocaust memorial, Jew museum etc.

€7 5-6 hour train to AMSTERDAM
--Meeting Point £14-18
--JAM

€30 Euro ferry, €10 train from Amsterdam to ferry, £10 from ferry to London

Bucharest - 3 Days
Budapest - 3 Days
Vienna - 3 Days
Prague - 4 Days
Berlin - 4 Days
Amsterdam - 3 Days

...ish

Roughly £497 (most expensive it could be) or £400 (if very cheap), pounds spent on travelling and sleeping place, £319 for the 22 days continuous travel sort of thing, could do £249 for only 10 days of travel but would obviously restrict our movements if we were to change our route/add stuff etc.

Hi,

22continuous is definitely too much for your plans; 10in22 makes much more sense since you only have 5 train trips so far.

Cant comment on Bucuresti or Sarajevo as I havent been there yet, but I have the feeling that 3 days might be a little much to stay there...better leave one day earlier from Bucuresti and head to maybe Brasov or Sibiu before going to Budapest.

4 days in Praha could be also a little much, how about a trip to Plzen or Budejovice - if you're interested in where all the beer is coming from? ;)

A stop in Dresden is also nice on the way to Berlin; from Berlin you could go to the Baltic Sea for one day or to Hamburg which is also a quite cool city.

Berlin - Amsterdam you do not need a reservation; free ride with InterRail on the day trains, only for the night train a reservation is required

Bucharest is awesome! But i definately agree with Flo it might be nice to leave one day earlier and see something else in Romania. The train ride alone is an experience already in my opinion. Transsylvania would be a good choice, since it's beautifull and is pretty much on your route to Budapest anyway (with a little detour). Haven't been in Brasov, but seems like a good choice. Sighisoara might be a good choice also if you're interested in history (i'm not very handy with linking, so i guess google sighisoara if you want more info :D ). Oh, or Cluj. Great city as well.
