Hi!

If you are leaving within the next days do not order online reservations - as shipping will take some working days and there is no guarantee you'll get the reservations in time; unless you choose express delivery but this does not make much sense as it is rather expensive.

It is better for you to buy those reservations you need while you are travelling directly at a station - or, depending on where you live, at your station at home.

If you provide me with your possible travel route I could tell you whether you will need reservations or not - and how to get them. :)

Anyhow, a short guide:

> enter From and To
> select travel date
> leave class of service empty!
> choose number of passengers and enter their age if necessary
> find products

If reservations are available via the shop, a list of possible departures will show up. If you get an error message try again - if that does not help the reservations are not available through the shop; in this case they could be available through other websites :arr: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation or not available online at all. Then you'd have to get them at a station

> choose the connection you want
> choose class of accomodation
> next

> you can fill in placement specifications if you want
> add to cart

> proceed to checkout as you do when purchasing an InterRail ticket

:)

A very nice trip through Scandinavia!

I assume you are flying into Oslo? So there wont be the possibility of getting reservations in advance. In that case, try to get your reservation to Myrdal right when you arrive in Oslo at the main station Oslo S.

Narvik - Kiruna - Gällivare no reservation necessary
Inlandsbana no reservation necessary. It is recommended though, but as we travelled Östersund - Gällivare last summer in mid august there was enough place if you wanted to travel without reservation.
Kristinehamn - Stockholm no reservation necessary if you avoid the X2000
Within Finland avoid the S2 when travelling during the day; for night trains you need reservations for sleeper accomodation
Stockholm - Kobenhavn for the fast direct X2000 a reservation is necessary :arr: https://rail.cc/en-type-country/x2000/sj-x2000/39 but there are also some connections without reservations with a change of trains in Malmö
Kobenhavn - Göteborg as above; avoid the X2000 if you do not want to spend the money for a reservation

:)

Enjoy your trip!
