Ist es zur Zeit Möglich mit dem Zug durch den Iran zu reisen?
Zur Zeit bin ich in Indien und "träume" davon über Land wieder zurück in den Westen, also in Richtung Türkei, zu reisen.
Meine Frage ist also: Ist es zur Zeit möglich den Iran mit dem Zug vonOst nach West zu durchqueren?

2.in fact it is even more PAKIstan that makes the biggest hurdle coming from INd. NO trains Paki-Iran at all. And you are likely aware of the bizarre tense relation between Ind and Paki. Even worse as once BRD-DDR.

Have been in Iran myself once and once in it goes quite OK-except that they only let you sleep in specific HTLs-that will charge special high foreigner price. Going in a sleeper train was also no prob-at again extra high price.
BUT it seems that nowadays it is much harder and also that the visum restricts you to only a few specific border posts if not coming by plane. Check that first very thoroughly in a better forum!

Yes, at this moment it seems that there is no way to get by train from Pakistan to Iran...
In the moment I try to collect information about the way Dubai Iran by a ferry. There are two...and than to catch a train....
