Just by chance stayed in the Mainz area the last days and indeed, yesterday this train was announced with some +4 hrs delay-and again-even a little more, this morning. For all those always so promoting these wonderful night trains: a unique chance to stay even for same money (less, you can claim delay compensation) much longer in them.
That even exceeds the usual delays that DB-IC/ICE manages to produce this year with at least half its trains.
And this morning during my trip even more delay: a failed train-an old SBB (=swiss, always praised so much) EC running toward its homebase blocked the tracks-and thus also for my train when aiming to get home.
With a dirty mind: does staff organise all that so they can get more overtime pay?
