Hello I will be travelling from Wroclaw to Paris on 11th August. I will buy 22 days global pass
On my way I have to use train NEB 5162 ( Niederbarnimer Eisenbahn) dep 05:58 11.08.2011 and arrival at 07:28 to Berlin-Lichtenberg.
Can I use my interrail ticket on this train ? ( I will buy the cheapest ticket from Poland to the first stop in Germany- as obviously I can't use ir in my coutry of residence which Poland is and then continue my travel to Berlin) Is this possible ? Please help!

Hi!
Yup, InterRail/EuRail is valid on NEB trains. :)
I assume you want to use this connection? :arr:
Kostrzyn 0558 - 0728 Berlin Lichtenberg
Berlin Lichtenberg 0738 - 0746 Berlin Ostbahnhof
Berlin Ostbahnhof 0754 - 1328 Mannheim
Mannheim 1341 - 1650 Paris Est :arr: https://rail.cc/en-type-country/ice-alleo/db-alleo/64
Are you from Kostrzyn? Then just get a ticket for 1,50€ to Kostrzyn Kietz which is across the border.

Thanks Flo!
Yes this the connection I want to use. However now I think about changing my plans and stay in Berlin untill the CNL night train from Berlin to Paris runs ( https://rail.cc/en/train/berlin-to-paris). It's not only cheaper ( as I read on railcc it costs only 9e the cheapest way ) but I won't need to look for another place to sleep in Paris.
Actually I'm from Wroclaw but I think it's faster and more comfortable for me to go via Kostrzyn than via Dresden. My train from Wroclaw to Kostrzyn costs only about 5,5 euro.

Hi!
Yeah, that's a good idea as well! You can make reservations for the night train online :arr: https://rail.cc/en/night-train/berlin-paris-cnl-450/19
Do you then plan to stay in Kostrzyn overnight when coming from Wroclaw?

Great, I think I will use it!
I'm not staying in Kostrzyn for a night because I take TLK 48500 night train, which departs Wroclaw 23.10 and arrives to Kostrzyn at 4.46. I hope to take a little sleep there, but I obviously know how Polish night trains going to sea-destinations are crowded and so I don't expect much :D

Oh... I forgot to ask!
Is this true that you can use S-Bahns in Berlin for free when you have valid Interrail ticket ?

you can use
1.your choice of cheap PKP-IC tickets
2.OR the 50% discount ticket (with IR) Wroclaw-Kosztrzyn HRANICA=border, grenze to cover-you can decide yourself what is cheapest. this [2] is on the official INTERnational ceny and may thus cost a lot more as [1]
Officially as Polski you need to pay for the sektor Kosz-Hranice |(NOT first DE stop), but conductors often dont enforce this. But you never know which ones do and which ones do not.
