Hi,

I am planning to go on a 10 day route with 5 travel days from Sweden. My plan is to spend first travel day to Berlin where i stay 3 days. After Berlin I want to go on a night train to Paris (19 hours rule) where I will spend 2 days. Next stop will be Antwerpen for another 2 days before heading back to Copenhagen through Amsterdam with 1 day stop over.

Does anybody have any experience about night train Berlin-Paris?

An alternative route is to skip Paris and visit some other city in between Berlin and Antwerpen, anybody have recommendations? Is München or Köln good cities for a day's stop over?

/M

train Berlin-Paris i think is not different than others CNL train, so do not worry.

Munich is very nice and calm city. and if you like cars you should go to BMW Welt at least.
also has night connection with Paris (in fact it's the same train from Munich and Berlin and in some point of the route are connected)

Hej,

Thank you, I will have Munich as a back-up in case night train to Paris is fully booked. I am not specifically in to cars, but maybe I will come home with a newly found interest 8)

I noticed the night train leaves Berlin at 18.57, but I wouldn't think they are so mean to refuse you to go on the 19.00 rule?

yes, but this train also at 19:04 still is in Berlin ( Berlin Südkreuz) so you know, it shouldn't be problem... ;)
but, for your tranquillity, you just can take this train at Berlin Südkreuz station.
