I would like to travail through Railway from London to Edinburgh; however, I would like to know the lagedge policy?

normal luggage rules in GB are https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/on-the-train/luggage/ bikes are covered by sepearte rules which vary depending on which company you use.

They are normally not strict on numbers of bags as long as the amount of space will not exceed the amount allowed. But the unwritten rules are:
YOU have to carry it to the train. There are no porters and normally no trolleys
YOU have to find somewhere safe to put it. NOT in doorways or aisles.
The train will not wait while you think about how to get a lot of luggage on.

Trains from London to Edinburgh are always busy so there is no chance of using the seat next to you.
