berlin = Circus Hostel, been there two times and it's my absolute favourite. no laundry at the hostel but there's self-service laundry with cafe just around corner
prag = HostelOne, private rooms are great, don't know about dorms.
budapest=Home-Made Hostel was nice small place.

Afossi Hostel House. Doesn't have a washer, but everything else is perfect. Great private rooms and clean. Also very small, so no noise and loud neighbours.

just in case you need one more advise for Berlin: i stayed there in an appartment 2 years ago next to the jewish monument and it was very cheep, very clean and in the city (5 minutes to walk to the Brandenburger Tor)=> so perfect!!!! i don't know i
I don't know if those cheep appartments are free now but maybe you search for it on the internet if you can't find any good hostels :D
greetings
Jule
and one more special tip: when you visit berlin, visit the TACHELES! it's kind of an insider-tip- it's a house in which unknown artists show their art ( photos, graffities, jewellery...) and just the whole building is art itselfe (it looks like a ruin and omg it's the coolest place on earth and entry is for free)! it's behind the hakerschen höfe so maybe you just ask someone there, it might be well known in this region :)
