Hi,
Because I stay at the cheap hostels in town I don't have any way to do laundry there. I'm looking for a (preferably self-service) Laundromat in Warsaw, Vilnius, Riga, Talinn and Helsinki. Last year I found a great one in Prague with English-speaking staff which was a real treat. I know Laundromats aren't very common in Europe but it would be nice if I know at least 1 address to go in these cities since I only take clothes for 4 days and I'm travelling for 15.

as above-many hostels have their own for guests
if they do not-why worry now? you cannot be the 1st one to ask at that hostel and they will know their area better as you peeking a some google map. And if you hit someone working 1st day-I know for sure they will know how to look into the yellow pages for the fone and see what is there.

I've been backpacking for a while now, atm in Tallinn.
In Riga I found a good place called Nivala, close to the city centre, washing and drying service for 6 Lats (8,50 eur).
Vilnius really doesnt have anything, even after asking around tons of times and even going to a place where a laundromat would be but closed down a year before.
I bought some extra tshirts to make up for it and so far it's going fine :)
Thanks for the Helsinki adresses btw!

Does anyone know of laundromats (within walking distance from the train stations!) in the rest of Europe?
This year I think I'll visit England, Scotland, Croatia, northern Italy, Switzerland, France, Vienna, Berlin... Thereabouts. :)
On my trip last year I only noticed a couple of laundromats, and handwashed my stuff in hostels. I guess rivers can be helpful too. :p

There seemed to be plenty of laundromats in France & Northern Italy, but they are not necessarily right by the train stations though so you might need to reserve some time to locate them. Switzerland is little more difficult, e.g. Montreux did not have one at all and I didn't see one in Interlaken either (there might be, I didn't actually look for it then).
