This same Q pops up by now dozens of times for IT and the answer remains the very same since many yrs: IT has NO lockers, as about any other country does, in stazione dalle treni. This is due to some pre 2000 revolutionary assaults etc.
Its a commercial western country so nearly anywhere there is demand for it the private enterprise steps in and offers some pricey ALT. But I dk about what is exactly available in that small town. perhaps dr google can help.
