Can you travel with the nj 295 and use the "Deutschland Ticket" to Italy or other countries? I was researching on the DB website and here but could not find anything about it.
Ist es möglich mit dem Deutschlandticket im Nachtzug nach Italien oder anderen Ländern zu fahren? Auf der DB Webseite finde ich dazu nichts und hier auch nicht.

It is abundant clear in about ANY publication that the D-ticket is ONLY for NAHverkehr, thus excludes all long distance IC/ICE/NJ etc. trains.
IF you can preplan some time before and if a seat is good enough for you-in most NJ is also a normal seated section as D-train with supersparpreis tix for/from 19,90, sometimes even a little less for junior<26. From border that other pass is valid.

Nein , das 49-Euro Ticket ist nur in Deutschland und nur im NV gültig .
