Hello!
Can someone help me to understand if it’s possible cross Spain to Portugal without stop in Madrid?
The reservations there don’t work very well so I would like to space that stop if it’s possible.

Thank you in advance

Do you mean cross Spain from France to anywhere in Portugal?

There are only two train routes into Portugal, one is to the far north and may be of no use if you want Lisnon or Algarve but can be reached for the border at Irun. The other is OK for Lisbon but difficult to avoid Madrid. The RENFE reservation sysetm is dreadful where ever you go. Which is why many budget travellers give up and either go somewhere else or use the bus.

OR via the south, from Andalucia-but then you will need to cover some distance by bus in any case. Why not think a little more, look at an atlas or check a guidebook and then ask. Also note that even via Mad the train connection is quite bad for a link to 2 adjacent capital cities.
