Hey,

I will travel about 3 Weeks in September! These are the main cities we (2) want to go. What other cities do you recommend, that are on this way? We would also like to go tothe sea in the north of germany for one day, maybe in Lübeck?? Are there any special trains that you recommend? Anything important to know about this route? Do i have to make reservations for hostels in thia big cities before, or are about 2-3 days before arrival enough? Are there reservations for an trains to make on this route??

Thanks for your help

Vienna - Prague - there is lot of direct train EuroCity(EC) without supplements

Prague - Hamburg - the most comfortable is day direct train because there is not any direct night train

Hamburg - Copenhagen - too short distance for night trains so just use free day train(s)

Copenhagen - Brussels - night train to Amsterdam and then InterCity (IC) to Brussels.
night train with surcharge https://rail.cc/en/night-train/copenhagen-amsterdam-cnl-40473/13

and go back to London may be via Amsterdam, like here: https://rail.cc/en/train/amsterdam-to-london

also you can take EuroStar form Brussels to London. is fast and comfortable buy horrible expensive (75euros)

Thanks for your answers - the route by trains is clear now. But can anybody answer my other questions too?!
Are there any other cities you recommend on this way? What about köln or bremen? About one day in each of this cities because its on the way. How to go back from london? Is it good to make reservations for hostels for the first week or so by now? An the rest during our journey?
Thanks a lot for your help

Hi.
Cologne is worth to have a stop.
If you know your route for the first days, book already in advance to get good hostels: [ux]https://rail.shop/hostelworld[/ux]
The rest make it during your trip, to stay flexible.
In most hostels you have internet access where you can book online - also interesting is to ask other travellers where they stayed before ...
