Hi,
Was hoping someone could help me figure out the best way to get from Dubrovnik to Budapest. Right now thinking of hopping on the last croatia air flight (depart 22:45, arrive 23:50) to Zagreb, make my way to the train station and hop on the night train that runs Venice - Ljubljana - Zagreb (4:40) - Budapest (10:58). https://rail.cc/en/night-train/venice-budapest-en-441/62
Am I crazy? Is this even possible? Is there a better way?
Thanks in advance for any help.

By the look of it there are no seating cars on that sleeper between zagreb and budapest but i may be misreading the information however it doesnt say there is a reservation required on that section......
As im sure you are aware you cannot get the train from dubrovnik itself so the flight is probably the best option. The first connection that is not a night train from zagreb leaves around 7 and gets in around 5 with a change in wein

Hi.
And an other option could be. One of the frequent buses from Dubrovnik to Split.
Then continue by night train to Budapest: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/split-to-budapest
Try to get the reservation already in advance on your way to Dubrovnik.
