Hi guys.

Need to get to Bordeaux tomorrow but all the trains that require reservation are booked.

Any idea how I could get to Bordeaux tomorrow?

Cheers!

Hi.
Have a look here:
https://rail.cc/en/train/paris-to-bordeaux

One is absolutely free - but very long.
There are others using a TEOZ train (EUR 3). There you usually should get a seat reservation.
To order online at railcc it is too late now of course. ;)

Either try sncf-voyages.com and pick it up at a train station tomorrow morning. Or still go to one of them tonight.

Other option - but not official - for the TGV:

Paris Austerlitz dep 06:12

arr 13:07 Royan dep 14:22

arr 14:53 Saintes dep 16:48

arr 18:15 Bordeaux St-J

according to B-Rail planner each train has please reserve which means that you can but do not have to

or (but less safe because of short change time)

Paris Austerlitz dep 06:12
arr 12:10 Saintes dep 12:19
arr 13:50 Bordeaux St-J

however, if you can not to change train in 9 minutes you can wait for this train above(from the first option)

9 minutes should be plenty of time

Hi there,
im planning my trip for september. Id like to go from Paris directly to Bordeaux with a night train approx. departing 10 pm.
sncf.com shows me a route from Paris-Austerlitz to Morcenx with Lunea-train and from Morcenx to Bordeaux with Ter-train. Does somebody how much it approx. will cost or do you have any other suggestions?

Hi Chris,

are you travelling with an InterRail ticket?

The night train you are talking about is this one: :arr: https://rail.cc/en/night-train/paris-irun-icn-4053/112
It arrives at 0529 in Morcenx, the TER back to Bordeaux runs at 0809 - so it would be better if you'd stay a little longer on the night train to get more sleep, eg like this:

Paris 2305 - 0653 Biarritz
Biarritz 0700 - 0904 Bordeaux

The Biarritz - Bordeaux train is the same you would get when leaving the night train in Morcenx already. In case the night train is late, leave it at Bayonne or Dax already to get the TER back to Bordeaux.
Note that the timings could vary slightly depending on day of the week and possible constuction works.

For the reservation costs follow the above link. :)

Another possibility would be to take the night train to Toulouse and then change to a TER/Intercité train to Bordeaux, travel time should be about the same.

UPDATE: on TEOZ the same system as for TGV for IR-users holds: so that means 6 € for a RES and quota. or the 18 if the quota is fully taken.
