Hi!

I'm going to travel this summer with two friends and we have made a route. Firstly, we refused Greece because of the actual situation. Dou you think is a good idea the next travel by interrail (Global Pass 5 days in 10)? We have 14 days to travel. Perhaps we can begin in some place in the north of Italy or Budapest. After that, we can go to Slovenia (Ljubljana); Croatia (from the north to the south: places like Dubrobnik, Split, Hvar, Plitvicka, Zadar, Kraka?); Zagreb; and Budapest. What do you think about it?

Tell me another places if you consider there are best places. And perhaps don´t go to Budapest because I was with you last year (Flow, Peter), I dont´n know. I'm Raquel, the spanish gril in Budapest meeting.

What about Sarajevo?

Thank youuuuuuuuu. Kisses

Hi Raquel!

Do you want to go by plane to get to the starting point/get back home?

In northern Italy you could start in Milano/Bergamo area, then go to Venezia. From Venezia you could go with overnight train to Beograd. From Beograd then to Sarajevo, then Mostar and to the coast at Ploce. Then with bus to Split (you could Dubrovnik too if time permits but is to the south from Ploce) and north to Zagreb and then Ljubljana.

Maybe you also want to include some mountains and make a short trip to Switzerland or Austria?

Hi Flo:

We'd prefer go from Venezia (we arrive from Spain) to Ljublana (train with interrail?) or Croatia (by ferry. What about Porec, is it an interesting place?) We like to go places like Dubrobnik, Split, Hvar, Plitvicka, Zadar, Krak; Zagreb and after Sarajevo.

Than you very much!

Hej...well as you are not travelling much long distances you will be probably better off with regular tickets.

Venezia - Ljubljana is only one direct train overnight, during the day it is rather complicated with several changes of trains: :arr: https://rail.cc/en/train/venice-to-ljubljana

Then it is best to go to Rijeka for island of Krk, then Plitivice - Zadar - Split (all possible by train); then with boat or bus along the coast to Hvar and Dubrovnik; then from Ploce to Sarajveo by train again (you can stop in Mostar on the way) and from Sarajevo back by train to Zagreb.
