Hi, i have a few questions regarding trains, and one slightly off topic question :)
1. I'm traveling from Berlin to Quedlinburg and back. I use this site ( https://rail.cc/en/search-train-route ) to find connections. For this route there is one train:

HEX80830 Veolia Verkehr Sachsen-Anhalt, Number of bicycles conveyed limited, HarzElbeExpress

is this a free train for IR holders?

2. How much is a seat reservation for CNL and EN trains?

3. Train between Malmo and Copenhagen, it goes through Øresund Bridge/tunnel. Is that a free train for IR holders?

4. Ok, this doesn't have to do anything with trains, but still i could use your advice here. I'll be taking a night train from Amsterdam to Berlin, and it arrives in Berlin at 4, half past 4 in the morning. What should i do then? :) I mean, don't want to wander Berlin late at night, but still i won't be able to go to hostel before check in (which is 14:00 i think) Do you have any idea what should i do until like 8-9 o'clock until the sun rises?
Thanks for the information in advance ;)

1) no, IR is not valid in the trains of HarzElbeExpress
try to use DB trains. the problem is that there are not DB trains...

2)
CNL: look here-> https://rail.cc/en/night-train/amsterdam-prague-cnl-457/15 it's also your train, right?

EC: generally EC trains are free of charge but in some coutries you have to do reservation
in Germany are for free with IR

3) is free with IR and probably goes by this brigde/tunel(there is no any option,no?)

Hi.

1) A small correction:
Interrail is NOT valid on the HEX between Berlin and Magdeburg.
But it IS VALID on Magedburg - Quedlinburg.
Pay attention: the train consist of two parts, use the one going to Thale. Train splits in Halberstadt.

2) Like Hetman said, use the link.
European night trains: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train
European connections: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route

3) Yes. Via the bridge (and part is a tunnel) - very interesting route and free. :)
At least every 30 minutes.

4) A good time to arrive in Berlin main station (Berlin Hbf). You have the Reichstag (German government) and the Brandenburger Tor just some minutes in front of the station. You will see it. Very nice in summer to sit down somewhere (park or meadow) and enjoy it in an early summer morning without tourists. :)

I don't understand your answer to the first question.
I'll take a REX train from Berlin to Magdeburg, and then a HEX train from Magdeburg to Quedlinburg? Is this route free then ?

Berlin - Magdeburg is NOT FREE by HEX
Magdeburg - Quedlingburg is FREE by HEX

Use a DeutscheBahn train Berlin Madgeburg, then change to HEX.

Example:
Berlin Hbf dep: 1011 | Deutsche Bahn Regional train - FREE
Magdeburg Hbf arr: 1153

Magdeburg Hbf dep: 1210 | HEX - FREE
Quedlinburg arr: 1323

This connection is running every hour during the day.

-re CPH_MalmO; ONLY the ev 20 mins local trains are free, there are also a few Swedish X2000 trains going on to STOckholm-these require an fairly expensive REServation
SEATS in CNL-the cost varies with type of seat-bookable online with [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] (it shows up later after choosing fares)-and is 10 eur for the old-style very nasty ex DDR wagons (6 in a coupe-hardly recline) or now 15 for the reclining open-wagon type (it varies per train what they have-on AMS-Ber it is the oldstyle crap)
USE Brains for that Q about early arrival (plus that it still gets light=dawn around 4-5.oo now): you have a ride at will ticket! Stay on train till next stop-see that town and come back later. The best is the big city of DRESDEN-but thats 2 hr onward. MOst hostels will allow early check-in or at least to drop off luggagge (though this will cost more in tickets to reach it and come back as a locker in a station.....-think again). Really IRing is not a matter of only speeding between a few superbig stations with the least cost and seeing nothing else.
in most of East-Europe life starts much earlier and also finishes earlier- by 6.00 many stations are in full swing. Berlin HBF is utterly safe-that eternal tremendous worry would hardly apply here. Normal daytime publ. transport starts running by 5.00.

Hi, thanks for the answers.
I have another question, and that is, do trains go throughout the night in the Netherlands? I will have to take one train from amsterdam to Utrecht at about half past 11 in the evening.

https://rail.cc/en/search-train-route <<- shows that there are trains after midnight even, is this correct ? ty
