Hello,

On 29 June trains from Venlo to Duisburg were canceled after 17:00. This is what they told me in the ticket office in Venlo. Could I have it in a statement in order for me to submit a complaint for reimbursement?

Many thanks!

Not from us, we are just a few people who give advice on problems - if we have enough info.

There are no trains from Venlo to Duisburg, you have to change at Viersen. So which part was cancelled because they are different operators. What sort of ticket did you have, was if for a longer international journey or a VRR ticket only for east of Venlo?

If you ant money back as you could not do the trip, then ONLY the office from where you bought that ticket can do that-and if thats a railway, then they have access to all those detials etc.
F.e. today there is a big storm blasting around NL and north Germany and in North of NL all trains are stopped since 9.09.
