Hi, I want to do a 4 days global pass during the period 18th August - 4th September.
This period is considered as 1 month?
The month for the global pass is a specific month (like 1st-31st august) or since the first day of travelling?

It starts on the first day of travel.

IF you (can?) buy old style papper pass-from a TrenItalia officizio, then you must actual first start date when buying and cannot be changed-but you can do 1st trip later if you fall sick or whatever scioperta they organise again.
For new style mobile passes: you can activate and set start date-then its till that day-1 next month valid, all by yourself and at the last moment if wished. So thats even easier.
