Hi guys!

We are a couple going on a Interrail and we already have a tiny problem! We stay in Berlin from 26th of July until the 30th of July, but our train tickets start on the 30th. Our plan was to go straight to Warsaw from Berlin but I'm having trouble which train we should take. And how do we know if there is neccesary to have a reservation or not?

Your best bet would be this:

https://rail.cc/en/train-type/berlin-warszawa-express/77

Departs Berlin Hbf 09:40 and 14:41 that day, arriving at either 15:17 or 20:28 in Warszawa Centralna

It is 4.50 reservation each but there isnt really another valid alternative

as you will want to make more trips:
1.get to use the general trainplanner-from this site=belgian or the IMHO better bahn.,de-can set in many lingo's
2.click on after choosing train or connection and it will show if RES is needed or advised.

The list of supplements per country on this website is very useful.

I would also strongly recommend the db travel planner for doing the timings though

Is that new peter?

Looks very good and it would be amazing if they would exist for most major routes

Hej ... yes it's new ... more or less since one month we started with the new website and adding day by day more and more routes.
Have a look here and find them sorted by countries: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
We also try to add free connections if possible - to avoid extra fees and have an inexpensive Interrail trip. :)
Peter :)
