Hi everyone! Does anyone know if the train between Andermatt-Oberalppass is free with interrail? I didn't find anything that says otherwise, but in any case it's better to ask!
The train is a regional train, but there's no mention on [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] of the company that provides the service.

Hi!
No it is not included in InterRail! But you will get a 50% discount with a InterRail Youth Pass.
Andermatt - Oberalppass - Disentis is operated by MGB Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (they run the Göschenen - Andermatt and Andermatt - Brig - Zermatt lines as well).
Brig - Andermatt - Disentis is 20€ with the discount; Göschenen - Andermatt - Disentis is 9€ with the discount.
In Disentis you have connection to the RhB Rhätische Bahn network which us fully included in InterRail.
To Brig you can use regular SBB trains, as well as to Göschenen (Swiss State Railway).
It is a very scenic area, well recommended! I'll look for photos which I can post after the weekend! ;)

Thanks again Flo! Too bad it's not free, but at least it's not too expensive! I'll be staying at nearby Brunnen, so I'll take the free train from Brunnen to Göschenen, and from there to Andermatt and Oberalppass. The values on the MGB website are different though. They give the trip Goschenen-Andermatt-Oberalppass as CHF 6, so CHF 3 with a 50% discount.

No problem. ;)
Where did you get this price info from? The official MGB website links to the SBB route planner which shows 11 CHF/9€ for Göschenen - Andermatt - Disentis.

There are two different routes between Andermatt and Göschenen. One is by Bus which is a lot cheaper than by train - but the bus runs only two times a day... (Via BUS PAG at the journey planner)

...and is obviously not covered by InterRail...
