in big cities as paris, Vienna - where do you use your gas cooker, without getting troubles?

Well...usually in a park. There it is usually forbidden but still it is not that suspicious if you stay in a calm place.
In Amsterdam we sat on a Gracht with our can of Ravioli (sometimes with sometimes without a stove.. :P )
In Trondheim last year we sat in front of the train station without worries...
Anyway, since you are not camping you wont need a gas cooker that much - most hostels do provide guest kitchens.
