Frequency is in St Pölten, about 45min (by train of course) from Wien. And it is quite nice (a big festival) though.

Sziget is very nice of course! Situated at a Danube island more or less in the middle of Budapest, a fantastic city!

I will join Sziget again this summer and will organize a Couch Surfing village/meeting (at least i hope) so can make an inter rail spot too.. Peter send us a flag 8)

I as well can really recommend [b]Sziget Festival[/b] in Budapest. Have a look on their website ( www.sziget.hu/festival_english ) for this year's line up. Have been there twice.

Oh, and one of my favourite activities during Sziget: Budapest has lots of thermal baths due to the hot springs below the city. One of it – the [b]Rudas Bath[/b] – is opened until 4am in the morning on Friday and Saturday nights. There is nothing more relaxing after a day packed with music and festival activities than lying in 42 °C water :D in a historic place build by the Turks in 16th century Budapest. Last year it was even possible to take a boat on the nocturnal Danube going from the island of the festival to somewhere near the bath.

WACKEN Open Air near to Hamburg (actually sold out, but not a real problem to get a day-ticket in town) - Germanys biggest Heavy Metal Festival :D
