Hi.
You have to ask at the place where you bought it.
I can only help you for products bought on the recommended website. Sorry.
Peter :)

This is very strange, as an IR CAN/MAY only be sold with passport of user shown. And I assume Polski passporty also show the real birth-date.

hey! I bought two Interrail Tickets for a friend and me here in the railcc shop. Unfortunately, both birthday dates are wrong, instead of 01.10.1990 it's written 01.09.1990 and istead of 08.04.1990 it's written 08.03.1990.
Is that very bad or can I just leave it like this? Or what shall I do? The problem is we are departing on 24.08., so there's not much time left.
Thanks in advance!

Hi.
Normally you shouldn't have any problems. As your names are correct, your passport or ID-card number is correct. Only the month differs of exactly one. But please send me your order ID by private mail and I will forward you contact details if you want to change the tickets.

The names and passport numbers are correct, so I think I'll leave it that way and prevent you from additional trouble =). Thanks a lot for your quick answer!

Hi everyone!

Just to share my experience about this issue:

I also bought my InterRail pass on railcc' shop and I had the same problem with the birth date (one month early than the real one). I ignored that and I hopped to 14 different trains in 3 different countries (Portugal, Spain and France) without problems.

Have fun :)

Another experience from my side... ;)

I once had printed my hometown instead my homecountry on a 5in10 InterRail pass. Travelled Graz - Praha - Barcelona - Graz without troubles.

And I talked directly to a friend who is always the chief of the staff of a train about this topic: he told that it is not possible to check all the details. And if he sees that the main part is correct (especially the last digits of the passport number), then it is fine.
The problem of the date of birth is solved now since several days... :)

More:

No one asked for ID Card.
SNCF staff didn't say me to fill the days of travel on the flexi pass (I travelled 5 days and just filled 3).
